"Bullied"
Our show is geared towards upper elementary & middle school students. “Bullied” tackles the subject of bullying.
It approaches the how, why, and lasting effects of bullying in our society.
After speaking with several educators, we realized the need to develop a show that specifically deals with this problem in the schools.
The show is written for students in 4th-8th grades, and the approach for this age group is a very interactive one.
Situations are laid out for the students to observe, then the actors connect with the audience to encourage retention of the subject matter, and feedback.
We address:
- Why Bullying happens
- How to deflect bullying
- Self Confidence skills
- Exclusion
Fact:
1 in 6 students, grades 6-10, report bullying some of the time.
1 in 12 of them report bullying MORE than once a week!
Students watch three actors perform this entertaining, but mentally stimulating show!
* When requested, we even provide post performance worksheets for students in each grade of our audiences. These tools help cement the vital information that our shows impart to them! We also offer a question and answer session at the end of our performances for your students.
Live theatre is such a pertinent part of the literary values that most schools strive to instil in their students.
Sadly, too many students go through school with minimum exposure to professional theatre.
We want to inspire students to be the best people they can be. Bullying has such a lasting affect on some people. They deal with memories that haunt them into the middle of their lives. If we can prevent some of these cases which often lead to solitude and depression, then we will truly be “Sculpting” lives, one production at a time.
We Look Forward to Visiting Your Students Soon!!
•Our shows run from $489+

What People Are Saying!!
This year, at the request of teachers, Sculpted Entertainment performed an interactive presentation about bullying, which was well-received, and a tremendous success. Our school system values the importance of the arts, and this program addresses valualble real life lessons for middle school students.
